Temperatures are dropping and that means it’s time to bring out the leather (or faux leather) looks. I’m switching from terry to leather joggers and probably sneaking in a button down here and there instead of my muscle tee or hoodie. Who knows maybe I’ll even turn on my camera during the zoom meeting. Okay, maybe I got carried away but what I’m saying is isn’t leather pretty much synonymous with fall fashion. When done correctly, an all leather look can make even the most casual outfit look polished. Here are some basic pieces to nail the all leather look for fall.
The Leather Shirt
A good leather button down is great for the fall because it can be layered over t-shirts as a jacket or worn alone over jeans or with a skirt.
The Leather Jogger
Ever since I’ve been working from home it’s basically been loungewear, but something about the fall always makes me feel like I need to step up my outfits. A leather jogger always seems to pull an outfit together because they are so versatile and can be worn with sneakers, booties, combat boots or heels—it’s really up to you. Whatever you choose it will be a hit, trust me. Here are my favorite joggers that are not only fashionable but also really affordable.
Like I mentioned previously, you can really wear any footwear with an all leather look, although my favorite footwear to wear with this look is a statement sneaker. If there’s one brand that knows how to do footwear collabs, it’s definitely Adidas. I was obsessed with the Alexander Wang drops (having bought from basically every collection). This week, Adidas will be launching their third collection with Marimekko and I cannot wait to get my hands on this bold sneaker. Lace up combat style boots are also an option as well as classic heels.
