Want to look put together while also improving your skin health? Here are products I’ve been reaching for that are my go to beauty products whether I’m going out or staying in.
Skincare
I don’t think this is a surprise to anyone. It’s no secret that I love Summer Fridays products and this moisturizer did not disappoint. What is so great about this moisturizer is its versatility. The gel-like texture layers well when applied over serums. It absorbs into the skin quickly leaving a healthy and hydrated look and feel. It’s oil-free which is great for combination and oily skin types, but drier skin types can also benefit from this ceramide-rich moisturizer.
Topicals Faded – This is a miracle worker. I first talked about this cream serum when I started incorporating this into my daytime skincare routine a couple of months ago. When this first launched it had a strong medicinal scent that I really disliked, but I knew it would deliver results it claimed. Since then, they have found a way to make the scent less intense. While I haven’t had to deal with a ton of acne scars, this definitely works on my blemishes and they have all diminished significantly or all together leaving me with a more even complexion.
Believe it or not, I am really surprised that I like this facial mist as much as I do. I generally don’t like coconut anything in my facial skincare products. I was however really intrigued as to what products were created for this collaboration. After reading the ingredients, I found that coconut oil was the last ingredient suggesting there was very little of it in this product. On top of that, the price point was just perfect at $8. The mister is super fine and I love using this over my primer before applying a matte foundation. FYI – I ordered 3 more.
Makeup
Fenty Eaze Drop – This might be my favorite skin tint of the year. There have been others but the way that this blurs my skin is amazing. The coverage is definitely light-medium. I like this because I can apply this quickly with a little concealer and translucent powder and look put together for back-to-back zoom calls or add a little bronzer and blush for brunch with my sister.
Lip Bar Concealer – This is my favorite concealer. FULL STOP. It’s the perfect amount of coverage that can either be sheered out or built up. Once you set this concealer it lasts for a long time without fading and has little to no creasing. This performs as good or even better as some higher priced concealers that have similar formulations so at $15, this is definitely a must have.
So there you have it, these are the products I’ve been reaching for. Have you tried any of these? Leave a comment below.
