These Are Best Curated Beauty Boxes that You Don’t Want to Miss Out On

Remember when beauty box subscriptions were everything. I think Birchbox was one of the first boxes that I subscribed to and at the time I thought it was a genius idea. For $15 I would get five deluxe samples of new or cult favorite skincare/makeup and they would last all of one week before I completely ran out. Then there was Ipsy. If I’m being honest, I really didn’t care for their deluxe sample curations. The next box that I tried was Glossybox. It was cool but I was never wowed by the products and I would never know what was in the box before I made the decision whether or not I actually wanted it. Eventually, I cancelled all of my monthly beauty box subscriptions and just trusted my beauty knowledge to buy products that I knew would work for me. While the price point of the aforementioned beauty boxes were great, I really wasn’t getting everything that I wanted. As my beauty knowledge grew my beauty selection changed and there wasn’t a beauty box that really catered to my wants and needs. But this year, I came across two boxes that were curated exceptionally well and the best part is that you don’t have to commit or remember to skip a box because they’re not subscription based. Each box contains full-size products that are curated with new and and tried and true products. The value of each box is incredible and no product disappoints.

This skincare collaboration with Face Flawless Skin and Luxurious Wellniss has pretty much everything you need to achieve an even and radiant skin tone with effective and nourishing products. Face Flawless Skin and Luxurious Wellniss are black-owned brands that focus on skincare and wellness. The set includes:

The total value of the of the box is about $268 and you get all of this for $155. That a steal, but more importantly these products are everything. It’s not just a bunch of random products. These are products that work well together or alone. This is what a skincare box is supposed to look like. It takes your from day to night and you can use these products for a good amount of time to determine whether or not you would like to repurchase them to add to your skincare routine. This limited edition is currently available so grab yours now before it sells out.

Trendmood Box

It wasn’t until quarantine started that I found out the my favorite beauty insider Instagram account @trendmood1 had started a beauty box. By the time I found out, they were already on their third box (which sold out in minutes. What I love about this box is that this is the box that all beauty lovers want. Each limited edition box is a curation of the latest skincare and makeup products with some favorites peppered in. The value of these boxes are insane. As someone who reviews A LOT of beauty products this is perfect. I have purchased these boxes 3 times and it has always been a hit. Their last box included Glow Recipe’s newest addition – Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum as well as well as two favorites from Nudestix. Added bonuses for me was the P.Louise Lip Kit (I’ve only ever tried their eyeshadow base) and boscia Berry Blend Smoothing Facial with 28% Acid Complex. The total value of the box is $190 and I actually paid $63 which included the shipping. The only downside about the Trendmood boxes is that they sell out within minutes. The good thing about the box is that every single product is a full-size product. I don’t know how they are able to get the latest releases into their box but I don’t really care because it is always good. If you are someone who likes trying out new makeup and skincare at a deeply discounted price then this is the box for you. I cannot wait until their next box is announced and if you want to stay in the know so that you can sign up for their early access releases follow them on Instagram @trendmoodbox.
