I can t believe it’s September. I know it probably seems that everyone is saying that but if I’m being honest, I didn’t think about it until I started seeing all of the new fall beauty releases. In my opinion, Fall beauty is my favorite season because of the colors. For the month of September, there are a few items that caught my eye that I will purchase and try out (so be sure to come back for my full review).
Peach & Lily Glass Skin Veil Mist *AVAILABLE NOW*

I love a good skin mist. Peach & Lily is one of my favorite K-beauty brands and their Glass Skin line is my favorite. I’m a big fan of the serum and this mist came just in time for the cooler months when skin is more likely to get drier due to the falling temperatures. This mist claims to hydrate, soothe, protect from free radicals and help skin look more radiant. It also says that it has a fine fog-like mist. It preps and sets makeup and can be worn alone. Gotta love that.
NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation *Available 9/1*

So happy to see that NARS is expanding the Soft Matte collection. I haven’t worn a full coverage matte foundation in a really long time as I’ve been really into radiant/borderline dewy finish formulas, but if I was going to go back to an full coverage matte foundation the claims that this foundation has is what I would want. It contains hyaluronic acid (because in this day and age would you really be a foundation if you didn’t include that in your formula) along with micro-algae to combat excess sebum. NARS is such a holy grail brand especially when it comes to complexion products that this is something that I will be trying and reviewing very soon. I might even try a full-face of NARS products to see how it works with products from other brands within the brand. You are also getting a bit more product than you would usually get in a
Natasha Denona Glam Palette *Available 9/2*

This is the cool palette of my dreams. I love the matte browns and the shimmers. This seems like an easy palette to navigate even for the eyeshadow novice. The transition and deepening shades are balanced and the shimmers pair perfectly. Brown and taupe eyeshadows are having a moment right now and the curation of this palette is superb. I also like that this is one of her smaller 15-pan palettes which means that you get the full Natasha Denona experience. If you own the Bronze palette (another one of my favorites) this is the ying to the Bronze palette’s yang. I would like try these together to create a look (hmm…another post idea). This might be the best beauty launch of the season. It’s a palette that hasn’t been done using these types of formulas and shades in a curated palette and the price is really good for the quality that you are getting.
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez*Available 9/3*

If Im being honest, when I first found out about this brand, I wasn’t sure what it was going to be. Was it going to be makeup? Was it going to be skincare? Was it going to be one of those hybrid brands like Glossier or dare I say, Morphe2? When the full collection was shown, I was pleasantly surprised. I find this to be a cohesive collection. While cohesive, not all of the products scream “I HAVE TO HAVE IT!”, but I am really interested in the foundation and concealer. The next thing that I was intrigued by are the two brushes that appear to be dupes for the Pat McGrath brushes, I’m not really into the concealer brush but the foundation brush is a unique shape that I want to try. I also like the shape of the sponge. I really like the packaging and the shade selection for the complexion products is impressive. The price point is great and if the formulas are any good, this can be a hit. I will definitely be trying this out and of course will report back.
