2020 Style Fave: Though She Be Little…

It’s 2020 so it’s time for me to share the first fashion trend that I will take it to the new decade.Up until a few years ago, I was really into large bags. While I still love a good large tote, it can sometimes be a gateway to filling your bag in so many unnecessary items. I’ve been living a more uncluttered life and the bags that now carry are in a small way a reflection of that. During the week, I keep it down to the basics: phone, wallet, lip balm, lip color, blotting papers, hand cream, keys, pen, and phone charger. When I have to carry my laptop, I have opted for a semi-fancy backpack to reduce any strain on my shoulders. Below are the four small bags that I have been rotating. Also, you know your girl loves a deal, so everything that I am sharing today has been deeply discounted. So click any of the colored links to take you to your bag. Oh, and none of these links are affiliate links so like I’m basically giving you the info on where to find these bags for free—you’re welcome. Okay, let’s go!

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Kate Tote

This is probably my favorite of all. It’s structured and so versatile. It can be worn with or without the crossbody strap. It’s large enough to carry all the essentials and the shape is really cute. I love how it’s slightly boxy but also very feminine. The color I have is unfortunately sold out, but there are other colors that are equally as beautiful.

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Avery Satchel

I love this bag because it’s perfect for the Fall season. It’s suede, in a rich burgundy hue, and like the Mini Kate Tote is can also be worn crossbody. This bag comes in a bunch of colors and right now it’s on sale for under $100 on Rebecca Minkoff’s site. Grab it while you can!

Rebecca Minkoff Small Love Crossbody

Of the three bags that I am featuring today from Rebecca Minkoff, this one speaks directly to my style. It’s a little edgy, can be worn with a leather jacket and booties and just represents my personal style. This is characterized as a “small” bag instead of a mini bag. I really like this because it’s large enough for a large wallet as well as all of your essentials. The strap can be removed so that it can be carried as a clutch so it’s perfect for a night out, running errands or going to work. I love a bag that fits all of my needs. Although this style with the Aztec beading is sold out, it does come in a lot of other colors and is currently on sale on Rebecca Minkoff’s site as well.

Kate Spade Nadine Medium Patchwork Crossbody

This is definitely my jeans and t-shirt bag. I was looking for a bag that could be worn all year long and this color combo really did it for me. Although there are some light colors, the deep navy blue pulls it all together and this can easily become a staple. Slightly larger than the three Rebecca Minkoff bags, it really holds a lot without looking bulky and has that saddle shape that basically a classic. There are actually two color options for this bag. The one I opted for has cool tones but there is another version that has warmer tones.

Check my Instastories all this week to see how I paired these bags with my work looks.

I’ve also rounded up a few other bags that are little but still fierce.
