It’s finally feeling like Spring in NYC and I’ve rounded up five skincare products to bring your glow game to 100. The warmer months are a tricky season especially if you have combo oily to oily skin. It’s easy to go from glowy to greasy if you don’t use the right products. So here’s my list of new and staple products to get your glow on.
Not surprising that this mask made it to my list. It is the perfect dual purpose product. If the brand’s Overtime Mask is a little too abrasive for your skin or your looking for a morning mask that will give you that well rested look when you’ve had less than adequate sleep, incorporate this into your skin routine. The finely ground rose petals will gently exfoliate while the gel like combination of argan, safflower, sesame, avocado and grape seed oils penetrate the skin to hydrate and soften leaving you with a healthy glow. In ten minutes you can go from dull to radiant with one easy step. I especially like to use this in the mornings, usually on a Monday. The scent is also relaxing that it’s like a quick spa facial.
Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Brightening Serum
Are we still obsessed with glass skin? Of course we are. New to the cult favorite Glow Recipe family is the Pineapple C-Bright Serum. Made with 22 percent pineapple juice, and high in Vitamin C, this serum claims to combat acne scars, dark spots, and hyperpigmentation leaving skin you with even toned glossy skin. Depending on your skin’s sensitivity, this can be used everyday and it smells good enough to eat. I have just started using it, so I’ll definitely be doing a full review on this soon.
Pixi by Petra Pearl Brightening Oil
Oh look, another dual purpose product. No makeup and still want to glow? A couple of drops of this over your moisturizer and your skin will look and feel hydrated and soft all day. It’s formulated with coconut oil to moisturize, aloe vera to soothe and antioxidant-rich green tea and olive oil. The subtle pearl effect will leave you glowing all day. What’s even better is that it can also be used as a makeup priming oil for that lit from within look. Doesn’t hurt to add a few drops to the top of your shoulders on collarbone either.
Speaking of primers, have you ever heard of a primer that’s so good it can be worn alone over your skincare? What’s more is that if you decide to wear foundation it ensures that your foundation will stay in place all day? Leave it to Milk Makeup to come up with a product that doubles as a hydrator and a primer with a cooling effect so that you stay “chill” all summer long. Did I mention that it also has hyaluronic acid to keep your skin looking youthful?
Supergoop! Glow Stick Sunscreen SPF 50
This is the no highlighter-highlighter look that we’ve all been waiting for. On top of all that it has SPF 50 with no white cast so it’s perfect for all skintones. Swipe it on the highpoint of your face, shoulders or collarbones for instant glow while protecting your skin from sun damage.
So there you have it—5 products that are sure to keep you looking radiant all year long. Drop a comment if you’ve used any of these products.
One response to “5 Products to Get Your Entire Glow Life Together”
[…] Launched in 2019 it’s safe to say that this primer set the bar for all other gel primers to follow. It offered a soothing effect to the skin while creating a slightly tacky base for your foundation to adhere and leaving skin looking hydrated even when using a mattifying foundation. It’s been on my list of products to achieve a healthy glow. See my post here. […]
