Nars Just Dropped Their Holiday Collection and You’re Going to Want It All

Take a deep breath. NARS just dropped their holiday collection and it is basically everything. The entire collection will complete it’s launch by 10/18. Check out Temptalia’s post to get all the specific dates and where to buy.

I’d like to first talk about this ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS packaging. The studded design takes you back to the 80s but the products are definitely what you’re looking for right now. I fell in love with two products from the line—the cheek palette and the lip pigments.

The Hot Tryst Cheek Palette is literally a palette that can be used on just about any skin tone. They can be also be used as eyeshadows, so that is a plus. It’s not too glittery but there is some shimmer so if you’re looking for a lit from within glow, then this is the palette that you need. The formula is very soft and it is not at all blotchy when applied.

The next product I had to have are the Powermatte Lip Luster. I’ve never been a fan of the original Powermatte Lip Pigments because I found them to be drying, but this formula is different. At first, I was a little weary because I NEVER do a metallic or shimmer lip and thought that this was going to have either of those finishes. I was wrong. While still a matte formula, this has a cushiony feel and the color payoff is amazing. It’s extremely long-lasting and stays in place for hours with no need to reapply.

I’m excited to try other products from this holiday collection, like the eyeshadow palette and the lip pencil sets. I most likely will be updating this post as I acquire additional items from this line so check back often to see what else I’m wearing.
