Olay Foaming Whip Body Wash

So Olay just launched their newest line of body washes in a new formulation that kind of changes the way that I feel about foaming body washes. I love a rich body wash, and formula has quickly become one of my favorites. When I first saw the promo for them on social media, I was intrigued. Most foaming body washes that I have used either go from gel to foam or they have a mousse like texture and the foamy creaminess dissipates a few seconds after it has been dispensed. While initially they have a light an airy feel, I often find myself having to use more body lotion/body creme to lock in the moisture.

The Olay Foaming Whip Body Wash is different. When first dispensed it looks very much like a healthy serving of Mr. Softee. When applied to the skin, I found it to be really creamy, like an in-shower body creme. The lather lasted for the entire shower and after rinsing my skin did feel moisturized and there was no residue. I also noticed that the amount of body creme I usually apply after showering was significantly reduced. The scent is not overpowering and works well when layered with a scented body lotion or body creme. It comes in three light scents:

  • Shea Butter – perfect for everyday
  • Birch Water & Lavender – perfect for relaxing at the end of the day
  • White Strawberry Mint – a slightly sweet and refreshing scent, perfect for the weekend

What’s even better is that you get a lot of product for your money. They are a little over 10 oz. and are under $6/each. You will get up to 30 washes per bottle and they can be found at your local Target or Harmon Face Values.

Side note: Over the past two years I’ve noticed that Olay has really been killing it when it comes to effective skin and body care. I have a few other Olay products that I will be reviewing soon, so be on the lookout for my reviews on other products from this brand. Also, shout out to the gals from Face Flawless Skin who opened my eyes to so many products by Olay.
