It doesn’t have to be Sunday to be a Funday when you’re a beauty enthusiast and finally start using cult favorite Sunday Riley skincare products. If you’ve been following me on Instagram (@seetouchtaste) you already know that I’m a huge fan of Sunday Riley’s Tidal Enzyme Water Cream as a hydrating daytime moisturizer. Not that you haven’t heard this before, but even those of us with the oiliest of skin suffer from dry patches during the winter season. For those of you who don’t know about the Sunday Riley brand, here’s a quick synopsis before I delve into my favorite products which also happen to be the most popular – and for good reason.
Launched in 2009, the Sunday Riley brand revolutionized the bridge between science and botanicals. Every product in the line is contains one or more botanical ingredient that is then scientifically engineered to produce the best results for whatever your skincare concerns you may have. On top of that, practically every product is effective on all skin types. Below are the four products that beauty editors, bloggers, celebrities and beauty junkies are obsessed with. Fortified with French green clay, this non-foaming cleanser purifies and tighten pores, leaving skin visibly smoother. Vitamin C is also infused into this cleanser giving you a brighter, more youthful appearance.
The most prominent ingredient in this product is lactic acid – known for it’s anti-aging properties. In addition to the anti-aging properties it also aids in refining your skin’s texture and diminishing the appearance of hyperigmentation, while yeast extract aids in cell turnover.
This retinol-rich nighttime oil can be used on top of Good Genes for the phenomenal results. Retinol’s powerful anti-aging properties helps to keep wrinkles at bay while blue tansy soothes the skin. What I like best about this oil is that it’s multi-purpose. In addition to anti-aging benefits it also tackles a multitude of skin concerns like eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea and acne.
HYALURONIC ACID. The fact that this super hydrating moisturizer contains a double dose of this ingredient should be enough to convince you to at least try it. Since we’re in the colder months this ingredient is super important. It helps to retain moisture while acting as an antioxidant defense against environmental assault. WHOA! Now if you think that’s impressive, what if I told you that on top of all of that this hydrating cream also contains papaya enzyme for visibly brighter skin. Using this as the last part of your morning skincare routine (but don’t forget SPF) will give you intense hydration all day with a natural glow that doesn’t feel greasy even on the oiliest of skin types – trust me I have oily/combination skin and this leaves me with a healthy glow. To top it all off, it’s a lightweight moisturizer that can definitely be used all year long.
While each one of these products may seem a little on the expensive side it is worth the investment. After all – you only have one face so treat it well. Not ready to make the investment but want to see what all the hype is about? The best way to test how this line will do for you is to try the #Squadgoals set which includes generous mini versions of all four products listed above for the price of one. Not bad…not bad at all.
