You know how it is when you want to try something out but don’t want to pay full price. You also don’t want a mini sample that’s only good for one or two uses especially when you’re a beauty junkie and know it takes at least two weeks to see any real results.
I am so happy that Sephora has figured this out. On a recent visit to Sephora, I came across the Sephora Favorites Customized Skincare Set. The set costs $25 and you are able to pick five products, based on your skincare needs. Oh and it comes with a cute cosmetic bag and the sizes are great if you are traveling. Seriously gals, we could all use a new cosmetic bag. There are fifteen items to choose from. The selection features beauty faves from some of the most trusted brands. This time I picked the following five items. Click on the links below to be taken to the full size products and learn more about the benefits of each product
- Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser (1 fl. oz.)
- Algenist Genius Ultimate Anti-Aging Melting Cleanser (1.5 fl. oz)
- REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask (0.5 fl. oz.)
- Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask (1 fl. oz.)
- Caudalie Vinoperfect Cell Renewal Night Cream (0.33 fl. oz.)
For me, I had three concerns: clean pores, anti-aging benefits and nighttime hydration.
The Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser is always good to have. I love the warming sensation that makes it feel like it’s really getting in there.
The Algenist Genius Ultimate Anti-Aging Melting Cleanser is something that I’ve wanted to try. I love my Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm, but this one claimed to have anti-aging properties so I wanted to give it a try, plus there were so many good reviews on this.
The REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask was actually the first item I picked up mainly because I have a glycolic acid addiction that I probably have to talk to someone about.
The Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask is pretty much a necessity if you have larger pores or oily skin. This mask is designed to be used once a week, so you’re able to get anywhere from 4-6 uses out of this tube.
Lastly, I selected Caudalie Vinoperfect Cell Renewal Night Cream. I figured that since I actively exfoliate, I needed a nighttime moisturizer that would aid in the cell renewal process while I slept.
I’ll be reviewing the Algenist and Caudalie products in the next few weeks, since they are the products that I haven’t used in the past.

I go to Sephora all the time and I didn’t know about this! Is there any limit on what you can choose? I look forward to your reviews!
You choose 5 products for $25. It might not be available in all Sephora stores, however you can customize your kit online.
