Weekly Roundup: The Perfect Couple

Sunday was the first day that actually felt like Spring. The sun was shining and there was a cool Spring breeze. Perfect day for a city stroll and that’s just what I did. Of course I stopped for some pictures along the way. I recently attended the grand opening of Banana Republic’s Flatiron Flagship store and fell in love with this oversized clutch. Small enough for a night out and large enough to carry everything a gal needs. The graphic print explains everything. I then fell in love with these shoes also from Banana Republic. It has ankle straps and zipper details – a little ladylike and a little badass. The rest of the outfit was easy – when in doubt, always wear black. This black blazer that I purchased as an emergency from Forever21 actually turned out to be a great buy. Moto jeans are having their moment right now, and the length of this pair worked perfectly with the shoes. In the spirit of keeping it simple I added a white v-neck t-shirt. Ladies, you need to have an arsenal of white t-shirts for the Spring/Summer season. They are lifesavers. This particular one was purchased from American Eagle Outfitters. Slightly oversized and lightweight, it’s work appropriate with a blazer and can even be worn on a date – think basic mini and heels. To view the full size image, just click.
